Become a Volunteer

Join the thousands of people who have already signed up as Every 1 Reads volunteers. It’s easy! Just donate 30 minutes per week to read with a child in a JCPS school or a community or faith-based organization. Register for one of the orientation sessions below to get connected. At the New Volunteer Orientation Session you will:

• Learn the JCPS protocol for helping a struggling reader
• Complete a contact/preference form
• Submit personal information for a criminal records check
• Have a photo taken for an Every 1 Reads picture ID

To register for a training, use the calender below to scroll through weekly training dates. Once you find a preffered training date, use the registration form to sign up (use the blue arrows next to the word "today" to scroll through each week). When we receive your information, we will call to confirm your registration.
